In 2023, the founders set out to actualize the vision that would develop the Institute as a hub that promote, and inspire through knowledge and cultural heritage, providing a space for reflection and addressing social, cultural, economic, environmental, and other challenges related to the island of Hvar, as well as the broader Dalmatian and Mediterranean region.
Most efforts by Institute Founders and supporters were focused on developing the basic organizational and decision-making structures of the Institute. During 2024, the Institute is focused on building key partnerships and piloting of programming across several departments.
The Executive Board is the Management Board of Pharos Institute who along with its members are actively developing the Institute and programming.
The international advisory board is being designed to provide strategic expertise in department areas and institutional development as well as support in networking and fundraising.
