Pharos Institute is proud of our students and the cooperation with Boz Institute and Hvar High School for the SETAC Conference in Vienna May 12-15 2025. Students presented a portion of their 2024 sea ecology research as entitled. ” Ecological Risk Assessment Post Tourist Season at the Croatian UNESCO Heritage Island of Hvar: Student STEM Research Immersion Program Promotes Environmental Stewardship and Community Outreach.”

Students Miha Novak (3rd grade) and Franka Bićanić (3rd grade) with their teacher Nikol Petrić visited Vienna from 12 to 15 May 2025. They participated in the SETAC (The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry) conference and presented a poster in the creation of which other students from our school also participated: Antonija Vlahović (3rd grade), Antea Mihovilčević (3rd grade), Luciana Marijan (3rd grade), Ivana Pavlović (2nd grade) and Laura Trogrlić (2nd grade). They return home full of positive impressions and knowledge.
